How long does a website take?

From two days to three weeks, depending on what the site has to do — and on how ready your material is.

Illustration of project timelines

The answer is written into every package: a portfolio in two days, a landing page in two to three, a company site in five to seven, an online store in two to three weeks.

What actually causes delay

Rarely the code. It is waiting on material — product photos, copy that needs approval, a decision nobody has made. So the clock starts when the material is in, not when the deposit lands.

Three things that keep it on schedule

  • The main message of each page, even rough
  • The images you will actually use
  • One person who can approve without a committee

The scope and lead time of each package are on the packages page
